I come from Kentucky, where the bourbon flows and the blues echo, and I can take you to Heaven or I can take you to Hell.
From the Delta blues to that Appalachian glow from the deep South to the East winds, where tumbleweeds blow, in those cold Northern nights, I learned the magick so well and I can take you to Heaven or I can take you to Hell, yeah, I am the Kentucky Swamp Witch, and I’m proud to tell it.
I've danced with the demons and played with the angels' light.
Rock gut whiskey runs through my veins, sharp as a knife, I ain't no safe bet. I live on the edge, but I can make the light shine or put your lights out instead. The choice is yours.
I am the Kentucky Swamp Witch, unafraid to roam.
I can love you right, or make you burn in the flames.
With my magick, I can make your soul soar high, or drop it in a deep, cold grave, I may come from the bible belt, honey, but I ain't no saint I've seen the darkest corners, where sinners and saints acquaint and I embrace the shadows, yeah, I am the Kentucky Swamp Witch, proud and free, I can make your heart dance, or bring you to your knees, with my guitar as my wand, and my songs as my spells, I'll take you on a journey through the magick, So, don't pull my chain, but don't be afraid to let go either
I am the Kentucky Swamp Witch, and this is my show. I'll cast my spells, and weave my melodies with pride for I am the Kentucky Swamp Witch, ready to take you for a wild ride.
