Deuces up

I went through the bathroom window while they were coming through the front door, you could hear me screaming as I was running down the alley, Deuces up and Jacks down catch me if you can, but Death has been chasing me since I was born and she aint caught me yet!

I am punching my way to 58, 11 days and counting, don’t ask me about my past, and don’t ask me about tomorrow I’m living for today, yes many bridges have been burnt that’s how I keep moving forward, think about it with no way back where are you gonna run so keep them Deuces up and Jacks down catch me if you can, but Death has been chasing me since I was born and she aint caught me yet!

I have been living this damn life my way since before I was born, been turning this world on my own since I took my first breath, it aint about the money, it aint about the big fat honey sure they can make life sweet but in the end, I’m preaching what ol’ blue eyes sang, I did it my way and I’ll keep my Deuces up and Jacks down catch me if you can, but Death has been chasing me since I was born and she aint caught me yet!

Now I’m chained to a slow death and I’m driving my way past insane and when Death finally gets her prize I’ll be filthy Wicced to the core and the blood stain I leave will be my eternal flame keeping my legacy burning until this world stops turning, many will come after me following my blood trail keeping their Deuces up and Jacks down catch me if you can, but Death has been chasing me since I was born and she aint caught me yet!
