Another Birthday has come

December 17th—who would have thought 58 years and still going? Now, I’ve got some albums for sale, but I haven't hit the big time, and the struggle is real. So, if you ever catch me in some ol’ smokey barroom, stay a moment and hear me play my guitar. Wicced Sarah is who I am, and I’ve been on this road just playing Rock' n-Roll, yeah just playing Rock' n-Roll.

Well, now there are many on this road, giving it all they have. Though they dream, they know as long as they keep playing, it will get them through. Keep playing that Rock' n roll is all we need to know and when nighttime comes, we are just doing our thing, just playing Rock' n-Roll, and that’s why I must keep playing Rock' n-Roll.

It's 5 in the morning, I’m awake and my dog is on the bed, coffee in one hand cig in the other, and a slight humming in my head from years standin in front of my screaming Fender now I’m listening to a classic as I’m reflecting on all these years past penning one more song; another birthday has come, and you can hear the years in my voice when I sing up here on an empty stage but it’s alright because the memories keep me warm and it’s a Rock-n-Roll life I’ve lived just playing Rock' n-Roll, just playing Rock' n-Roll.
